In what may have been the shortest full board meeting in Community Board 3's history - just over hour and twenty minutes long - members granted full liquor licenses to 4 businesses.
No controversy, no debate, not even a single comment was made in regard to these four applications, making it one of the least entertaining but most efficient evenings spent in history (ever).
Congratulations to the following businesses:
Champagne Problems: Granted full on-premises liquor license
Han Dynasty: Granted full on-premises liquor license
Hanoi House: Granted a temporary retail permit with a full liquor license for their new restaurant extension, having recently taken over what was Hanoi Soup Shop's space at 115 St Marks Place
JV US HF 14TH St I LLC: Granted full on-premises liquor license for a stall at the Urbanspace Union Square food hall
The monthly meeting took place at Essex Street's Anna Silver Elementary School (P.S. 020) in the auditorium, following the council's switch back to in-person meetings back in May.
*Following CB3 approval, applications still face scrutiny from the State Liquor Authority (SLA), which has the last word on which licenses are granted
