'Magazzino' Takes Over Leisir Wine on Henry Street
Not much information available on their social media, and no website either.
Leisir Wine, open since 2019, has been taken over by new owners and converted into Magazzino (factory in Italian), also a small size wine shop. The store features sections for French and Italian wines atop bright white shelves in a minimalist interior, as well as some eye-catching multi-liter glass wine jugs.
At the front of the store, you might spot a small soundboard/mixer, a remnant of their opening day party just last week on October 19th. Near the back, the wine curator's choice of 'allocated' wines are displayed along the wall; these are known for coming from small producers, or for their grapes being hand-harvested among other particularities.
Before Leisir (pronounced "Leisure"), the space looked like a typical Chinatown business, although it's hard to figure out on StreetView what it was before 2018.
