Greenwich Village's 'Village Sun' Local News Outlet 'Suspends' Publication

Forgot to mention this a while ago, but The Village Sun, a publication covering developments unfolding west of the Bowery, paused publication on September 16th of last year. I can't say I agreed with all the opinions expressed there, but they provided a consistent stream of hyper-local information that people could rely on to keep themselves informed. Another loss for local journalism.
