The year old gallery has absorbed the space of a neighborhood old timer - LoHo Realty, and doubled its square footage at 361 Grand St. Quick renovation work means that Kates-Ferri Projects have already laid out their newest exhibition throughout both storefronts.
The gallery is managed by married couple Natalie Kates and Fabrizio Ferri, who opened it in Spring of 2022.
The gallery is currently showcasing the work of Guillermo Garcia Cruz, a Uruguayan artist and university professor of visual arts, whose work has been exhibited in major cities across Europe and North and South America. A stretch of successful exhibitions have also recently landed the gallery a glowing review on the art collector's site Artsy.
Despite leaving the space they had occupied since at least 2007, LoHo Realty maintains its presence at an office upstairs in the same building, as well as at 397 Grand St., in an office closer to Essex Crossing.
